LEA is the first fully European large deployable reflector subsystem developed by a consortium of more than 15 companies out of 7 countries
It is a declaration of European non-dependance in space.
A 5m C-band EM has been successfully tested in 2016 (under contract to ESA), a 6m diameter X-Band PFM is under manufacturing (co-funded by the European Commission), a 7.5 meter rotating Ka-Band EM is under design to be manufactured in 2020 (under contract to ESA).
